This past week has been an exercise in going out of my comfort zone by engaging in activities that I either haven’t done in a while or moving in circles I have not navigated before. My first ride of the year on my road bike with an awesome local cycling group. A makeup and mindset workshop led by a kind, warm-hearted woman who is challenging my beliefs around her area of expertise. Moving through the motions of merging two families together. And observing that the dance between work and life is feeling a bit off-kilter.
I’ve been challenged in every way, and I feel the need to break from my standard format for this weekly issue.
My mind is full from impactful conversations with people I respect, leaving me yearning for a deep dive into some perspectives that will help broaden my perspective on topics that I am deeply passionate about.
In the post below, I also reflected on my love-hate relationship with running.
I’m moving into this weekend feeling grateful that I get to experience a spectrum of emotions and tune in to myself and my needs. I'm giving myself permission to change my approach to this weekly issue but still maintain the consistent practice of writing and publishing each week. By doing this, I’ll be more resourced going into next week so that I can continue to serve my community and my family powerfully.
I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and find space to tune in to your own needs and what will help restore your spirit so you can keep doing what you do with ease and flow!
